De stemming is consequent opbeurend en contemplatief, en nodigt kijkers uit om even stil te staan ​​en te genieten van rustige momenten in de natuur.

Ans Duin – Impressies in Acryl

Als schilder in impressionistische stijl heb ik jarenlang de natuur omarmd als mijn grootste inspiratiebron. Altijd met mijn fotocamera in de hand trok ik eropuit – het bos in, de heide over, dwalend door onze prachtige provincies.

Ik verwonder mij over de geur van het mos, het spel van licht tussen de bomen, en de verstilde schoonheid van het landschap. Van de glooiende dalen en karakteristieke boerderijen in Limburg tot het strakke, open ritme van de Beemster in Noord-Holland – ieder gebied heeft zijn eigen verhaal, zijn eigen sfeer.

In mijn schilderijen probeer ik die indrukken vast te leggen. Nooit letterlijk, altijd als een persoonlijke beleving. Met zachte acryltinten en af en toe een uitgesproken kleuraccent – zoals diep paars – breng ik de ruimte, rust en weidsheid van het Hollandse landschap tot leven.

Mijn werk is geen weergave van de werkelijkheid, maar een uitnodiging tot kijken, voelen en even stilstaan. Een impressie – vertaald in kleur, vorm en gevoel.

Landscapes style impressionism.

In the years that I have been painting, I have always kept my camera at hand. Into the forest, into nature, wandering over the heath, everything was beautiful and impressive in my eyes. I sniff the scent of moss and trees, I marvel at the beautiful landscapes of our various provinces. The beautiful Limburg with its rolling valleys and its special long farms, but also the Beemster in North Holland declared a heritage site is photogenic. I, Ans Duin, try to capture this in my own style in soft acrylic tones with an occasional outlier to e.g. deep purple. I have tried to capture the vastness and space of the Dutch landscape in the paintings below. It is never reality, it is an impression!
